P.V.D. (Physical Vapor Deposition) is a new technology that combines vacuum plating with powder coating as a direct replacement for traditional chrome.
The black chrome coating is a deposition process that provides a much more uniform deposit (up to six times greater than conventional acid bath chrome in some cases) with no toxic chemicals that must be properly disposed of or recycled.
The P.V.D. finish has been tested under the most stringent automotive industry standards by Chrysler, Ford, General Motors, and Toyota and exceeded the requirements of traditional chrome and many paint finishes even under the harshest of weather conditions of the East Coast.


Application of the finish consists of a patented three step process:
First a primer paint is applied as a base coat; next, the wheel is placed into a Physical Vapor Deposition (P.V.D.) vacuum chamber where the multi-step process is applied. Multiple layers of metals are applied to create a mirror like finish with all the quality of traditional show chrome without the use of either hexavalent or triavalent chromium that pollute the environment; and, finally, a clear coat is applied to seal and protect the finish.


Warrants that chrome and black chrome wheels are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal and intended use for a period of five (5) years or 100,000 miles from the original date of installation We will repair or replace without any charge provided wheel or wheels are returned with a copy of original sales receipt or invoice and after examination have shown the has failed under normal use and service due to defects in either materials and/or workmanship.


Any pitting and/or peeling of the wheel surface during the warranty period; any de-lamination of the chrome and/or clear coat; any form of wheel discoloration due to ultra violet rays.


1. Wheel structural damage, curb rash, or any type of impact caused by adverse road conditions, i.e., pot holes or any type of collision. Deep cuts into wheel, however, minor scratches can be removed with a clear coat safe polish, i.e., 3M Renewsit II, without voiding the warranty.

2. Improper chemical treatment, i.e., Treat your wheel finish as you would the paint finish on your car.


For the life of the wheel, WCC will replace or repair any wheel found defective in either materials or workmanship. This warranty applies to the original retail purchaser only. This warranty is limited to normal and intended road use only. OUT OF ROUND CONDITION – 10 DAYSWCC will repair or replace any wheel that, upon inspection WCC or its authorized agent, is found to be out of round for a period of ten (10) days from date of original retail purchase. Out of round conditions caused by improper installation, accidents, wheel impact, racing or off-road use are specifically excluded. FINISH – PAINTED OR CHROME 2 YEARS, POLISHED 60 DAYS WCC warrants to the original retail purchaser the finish will be free from defects, blemishes and discoloration. Should the finish on a wheel, upon inspection by WCC be determined to be defective, WCC will repair or replace the wheel, at its sole discretion. This warranty excludes finish defects caused by accidents, wheel impact, racing or off road use, neglect, corrosion, inclement weather, chemicals and the use of caustic, acid or abrasive cleaners. THIS WARRANTY IS VOID IF: The wheel(s) have been damaged in transit.Have been used for other than the intended purpose of normal on road use i.e. racing, competition or off road.Repairs or alterations performed by other than WCCMisuse, negligence, accident or wheel impact.Improper installation or the use of incorrect wheel accessories such as wheel adaptors, spacers and non-approved lug nuts.Damage due to improper tire mounting procedures or the use of clip-on style wheel weights.Finish defects caused by negligence, corrosion, inclement weather (road salts etc.), chemicals or the improper use of caustic, acidic and abrasive cleaners.Tires installed which are larger or smaller than the recommended size for the wheel rim width.The original retail invoice or sales receipt is not available for verification or upon transfer of title of the product by the original retail purchaser.WCC sole and exclusive obligation under this warranty shall be to repair or replace at our sole discretion, without charge, any product which, after examination by our company shows that said product has failed in normal use and service due to defects in material and or workmanship. WCC will not be responsible for any damage or loss caused by delays, failure, or any consequential damage arising from any cause whatsoever, nor for labor, transportation, or any other charges incurred in the replacement of a defective product. Product must be returned freight pre-paid to Factory Reproductions Inc. at the address listed below. This is a limited warranty. No warranties or representations, expressed or implied, including implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose which extends beyond the descriptions and limitations of the face hereof and none shall be implied by law. WCC neither assumes nor authorizes any dealer, representative, or other person to assume any obligation in connection with WCC products uses or applications. WCC reserves the right to make changes or improvements in design, materials or specifications or product changes without incurring any obligation to replace, change or improve products manufactured prior hereto. This warranty does not limit rights, which may be available under individual State Warranty Laws.
