Our Corvette Rear Drag Sway Bar is a great starting point.
Upgrading the rear sway bar for drag racing can have amazing effects at the strip. One of the best ways to get lower ETs and gain consistency in your runs is by making sure your drag car is loading the left and right rear tires as equal as possible. Adding a thicker, higher rate sway bar in the rear is a major part of the equation. We take our heaviest rate rear sway bar and now offer it separately from the heavy rate front swaybar for that exact reason. Take a look at the chart below and you will see there is no stiffer bar option for drag racing!
If you are looking for the ultimate in sway bar technology then you need to look no further then the Pfadt Racing Rear Sway Bar. The Rear sway bar features a hollow Chromoly bar that is splined on each end to accept our splined CNC machined sway bar arms. The arms are made of 7075-T6 aluminum a grade aluminum that is more commonly found on military aircraft then on street/drag cars. The rear sway bar has 3 adjustments so that you can perfectly tune in the balance the launch of your car for your combination of tire size, suspension setup and Horse Power. Then endlinks that are featured in our Competition kit include custom made 3/8", Teflon lined rod ends for years of quiet operation. The hardware for mounting the Competition Drag kit is custom made to accept the light weight 3/8" endlinks.
