SPEC Stage 1 clutch kits are designed for street, drag race, drifting, road race, rally, pulling, and autocross use. This Stage 1 clutch will fit all 97-04 5.7L LS-1,LS-6 Chevy Corvettes and will hold 599 lbft. of torque at the flywheel.
They feature integrally molded carbon-Kevlar® based, high performance organic linings that offer smooth engagement and excellent life. These linings have an integrally bonded steel backing for strength under high clamp loads and temperatures. Hubs are double-sprung with spring cover reliefs for flexibility and heat-treated components for strength and durability.
