The strut cross brace utilizes straight lines and overengineered components to maximize strength and rigidity, making it far stronger than the actual loads on the brace. Dome shaped all carbon fiber braces that do not attach to the strut provide far less torsional rigidity improvement (4% vs 8%). The high safety factor insures durability as well as preventing flexing and thus maximum chassis stiffening benefit. Those that have tracked the car attest to the improvements in handling, feel and lap times. All C8 Cross Braces are tested to 5 times maximum load conditions.
