The MirrorTap is constructed of 24 gauge wire with a 2 amp inline fuse and a black braided flexible sleeve that looks Factory. DIY'ers: Our installation instructions include the Step-by-Step VoltMeter process for determining the +12V Switch and Ground harness slots. Others: Visit your Dealer or local Car Audio Shop for installation.

The 9" Cord Length is correct if your mirror's wire harness is Exposed on its rear face. If the harness is Concealed, then the 12" Cord Length is correct. We include a couple Zip Ties to secure any slack. These recommended cord-lengths assume your radar detector is mounted close to your mirror. Longer cords are available via the general MirrorTap item below.
